AIME 2024 Knowledge Program Highlights

Unveiling the transformative power of “Glocalisation”, the AIME 2024 Knowledge Program attracts over 1,000 global leaders to explore the synergy between global trends and local insights across two keynotes and 14 concurrent breakout sessions.

The AIME 2024 Knowledge Program at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre is set to kick off in spectacular fashion in less than two weeks, boasting an impressive surge in registrations that has doubled the attendee count to over 1,000 participants.

Setting the stage for a series of insightful exchanges and practical learnings, the program commences at 11am with a networking lunch sponsored by the highly anticipated Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre.

Central to this year’s agenda is the forward-thinking theme of “The 4Ps of GLOCALISATION.” This theme resonates with the AIME community’s aspiration to master the art of blending global insights with local nuances, fostering a symbiotic relationship that enhances business strategies and operations. The program aims to dissect the dynamics between embracing widespread industry trends and honing in on localised knowledge, a balance that is pivotal in cementing a competitive advantage in the marketplace.

AIME Plenary Speakers

The program will feature two keynote speakers sponsored by Speaker Bureaux Saxton and ICMI respectively who will shed light on the transformative power of glocalisation: Lisa Ronson, an award-winning marketing executive, and Sebastian Terry, a bestselling author and founder of the 100 Things movement. Both speakers are set to provide invaluable insights into the impact of glocalisation on business and personal growth.

The 4Ps—People, Planet, Purpose, and Profit—represent the core pillars of this year’s theme, guiding participants towards achieving sustainable business success and deeper brand engagement. The breakout sessions are designed to address each of these pillars with practical insights and strategies:

People: This pillar focuses on upskilling and motivating individuals within the workforce. Diane Demetre‘s session on sales development is among the five sessions dedicated to this topic, promising innovative approaches to managing sales pressures. Leadership teams from ICCA, SITE ANZ, and MEA will explore creative strategies for talent development and motivation.

Planet: Emphasising social responsibility and sustainability, three sessions will cover this pillar, including talks by industry associations UFI and IACC, as well as event strategist Ron Anderson. These sessions aim to highlight the importance of being purpose-driven in achieving sustainability.

Purpose: With a rising demand for sessions on purpose, reflecting the industry’s struggle with burnout, speakers like Sarah Morse will discuss cultivating a culture of courage and industry expert Natalie Simmons shows how purpose can drive individuals to build communities that enact change.

Profit: In the wake of the pandemic’s challenges, the emphasis on profitability has never been more critical. PCMA APAC Speakers Veemal Gungadin and Deanna Varga will explore how AI can be leveraged for both profit and purpose, while social marketer George Hawwa will discuss the evolving landscape of social media marketing and the importance of data-driven strategies.
